Digital marketing agency King Kong appoints Jessica Delahunty to operations manager role

Digital marketing agency, King Kong, has made a number of key hires, including the appointment of Jessica Delahunty (left) to the role of operations manager, as it is on track to hit annual revenue of $10m in the next 12 months, with clients across Australia and abroad.

After just four years, the business is disrupting the digital marketing space by guarantees true ROI – or they don’t get paid.

King Kong’s team of 38 staff now includes Delahunty, with many new hires
still in process. Based in Melbourne, the digital marketing agency’s
services include SEO, CRO, PPC, Facebook Advertising, web design and
marketing automation.
Says Sabri Suby, founder, King Kong: “I
have personally grown King Kong to the point where we have projected
revenue of $10 million this financial year. However in order for us to
unlock even greater growth and go to the next level I will need to step
out of the daily running of the agency and focus entirely on strategy
and growth. Hiring an operational manager is the next step in bringing
King Kong to greater growth.

“Jessica is a great addition to our
strong management team and is a perfect cultural fit. Her background is
well suited to a business that has experienced rapid growth. We have
been careful to not grow so fast that it impacts our work or customers
experience. And hiring Jessica will allow us to make our business
scalable so we can handle demand and continue to expand.”

Delahunty’s
background includes senior project management for organisations
including oversight project manager for the Department of IT for the
State of Maryland in the US, information systems project manager for
Quicksilver Group in Queensland.

Says Delahunty: “Being so
entrenched in the IT space for so long has given me a solid foundation
for focusing exclusively on the digital space. King Kong has experienced
phenomenal growth and they have such a fantastic culture, so I am
excited about the opportunity to create a systematic path for continued
exponential growth that delivers the best possible results and customer
experience.”

Started in 2014 in Suby’s home, King Kong has become
a company of almost 40 employees operating out of offices in South
Yarra and Melbourne, working with major clients nationally and
internationally, including Raine & Horne, Slater + Gordon, Aussie
Home Loans, The Good Guys, the Sydney Swans and First National among
many others. It offers services including SEO, CRO, PPC, Facebook
Advertising, web design and landing pages.

Says Suby: “I want to
do what David Ogilvy did for advertising to digital marketing. I want to
be the biggest and best in Australia. We are on track after three
years. I know what the rest are doing in terms of revenue and it has
taken them 12 years to get there. We will be breathing down their necks
in the next 12 months.”
