Healthy Harold rolls out new high tech teaching program at Quirindi

community,

Students from St Joseph’s primary school in Quirindi were among the first to road test Life Education’s new high tech teaching program this week. Life Education, well known for its popular mascot Healthy Harold the giraffe has been a mainstay in schools in the North West region, visiting 71 schools and 61,290 students over the past 11 years. This year Life Education turns 40 and to celebrate, has launched a new high tech teaching tool featuring 3D and augmented reality software to teach children about the human body, including the effects of drugs and alcohol. Students from St Joseph’s primary school made the most of the recent visit, which was made possible thanks to the support of the Quirindi CWA Drought Appeal.
