Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie unveils 25,000 chocolate Christmas treats
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, with the unveiling of Victoria’s largest collection of chocolate festive treats.
From surfing Santas to gourmet Christmas stars and edible ornaments, the chocolatiers at the Bellbrae wonderland have handcrafted more than 25,000 chocolate creations.
Among the 200 different delights made just for the season are the chocolaterie’s star-shaped wagon wheels, chocolate reindeer, angels, Christmas trees, baubles and festive lollipops.
More than 15 tonnes of chocolate has been used to craft this year’s festive collection.
“Our talented team of chocolatiers have been like busy elves working their magic to make our biggest Christmas collection yet,” Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie owner Leanne Neeland said.
“We just love this time of year, helping make sweet gifts and creating some memorable family fun in Victoria’s Surf Coast.”
During December, visitors to the chocolaterie can join the festive cheer with free photos with the venue’s seasonal celebrities, Santa and his helper Miss Elf, every weekend between 11am and 2pm.
Free Christmas chocolate gifts also await for good boys and girls.
