Luxury Collaroy penthouse might just be the best Sydney apartment money can buy right now
This northern beaches apartment with 200sqm of internal living and jaw-dropping beach views is bound to be at the top of many house hunters’ wish lists.
Upstate — Dee Why’s Kirsten Bertram said the property is rather unusual compared to a typical beach front property.
“The property also offers a lot more space than what you would find in a lot of the newer apartment towers,” she said.
Since hitting the market over Christmas, there has been strong interest from local and north shore downsizers.
“Until recently we only saw locals looking in the area, but more people are starting to discover Collaroy,” Ms Bertram said.
The third floor apartment has three bedrooms and a wrap around deck over looking the beach to Long Reef Headland.
Ms Bertram said the third floor is perhaps one of the best spots in the 12 storey building to soak in the surroundings.
“You’re really getting intimate beach views compared to those higher up that only capture the ocean,” she said.
Recently renovated and full of quality finishes, the corner unit has high ceilings and large windows. The stone kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, an induction cooktop and dual wine fridges.
The main bedroom has a sliding door to the balcony, an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. The other two bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and a shared bathroom and toilet.
Other features include a beach shower/ change room directly off the beach, a single car park space and direct lift access.
Ms Bertram said the northern beaches is seeing high demand for prestige apartments because they are hard to come by.
“Whenever they do come up, there is always an influx in interest,” she said.
One of 36 apartments in the prized ‘Flight Deck’ security building, CoreLogic reports it last traded for $1.55 million in 2015.
