Murray Bridge: CCTV released after woman sexually assaulted in driveway

Grainy CCTV of four men walking away quickly from a disgusting sexual assault on a woman at Murray Bridge could help police find the attacker.

The woman was sexually assaulted in her own driveway when she went outside to put rubbish in her bin last Tuesday at her Murray Bridge home about 12.30am.

She was approached by an unknown man who was hiding his face with a hood, and sexually assaulted.

A neighbour then shouted at the cowardly offender and the offender ran off. He was last seen heading north on Joyce St, Murray Bridge.

The suspect is described as average height and build and wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood pulled up, possibly over a peaked cap, and dark shiny parachute or nylon pants with a single white stripe down each of the pant legs.

CCTV has shown four men walking in a northerly direction along Joyce St, Murray Bridge, around the time of the attack.

Police would like to speak to these men as they may be able to assist with the investigation.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.

Anyone who may have been driving in the vicinity of Joyce St or Swanport Road around 12.30am on January 7 is asked to check dashcam footage.

Any images or footage can be submitted to police.
